Looking at an ecoboost...anyone else have one?

I'm looking at a 2011 Ecoboost CrewCab...Ford and me have a bad relationship but I'm watching my profits go into the gas pump every 3 days. I've spent 900 bucks already and the month isn't over.

I've watched countless youtube videos and been all over some ford forums and everyone seems to agree 20+mpg is the real deal. The truck I am looking at is priced right and realistically if I can keep payments to under 450, the difference in fuel use will pay for itself.

Couple questions...I've seen some TSBs, anything serious about the engine? Anyone have complaints or praises who owns one. What kind of mileage are you getting, any problems at all, issues you dont like and so on? Anything that can help me make a decision is welcome.

I need 20 mpg...NEED it to make the pricetag worth the switch. I also need reliability, so no transmission or engine issues, it can't leave me stranded and it HAS to last...so I'd really like to hear from people over 100K miles.

15.1 mpg in my 2011 ford f 150 with the ecoboost. Now I drive like an a$$hole and do 95 on the highway. It won't go any faster then that. 39k on it. I have the lariat edition with more options then I ever need. Heated and air conditioned seats was all I really cared about. It also has hands free calling which is nice. Keep your phone in your pocket or on charge. It displays the number or name in the radio display. Just hit the phone button on the wheel and your call comes through over the speakers. Love this truck. Traded in my 02 f-150 after having emissions problems with the state of MO. Thanks for making me fix an O2 sensor that then blew out the cat converter twice. It ran fine before I had to get it fixed because of MO safety inspections. I miss that truck. Never had to fix anything in it besides the starter and alternator before I moved to MO. The check engine light was on for 100k plus miles. Fixed that sensor and had nothing but problems after that.

The ecoboost trucks seem like good truck. They get 15-23 on normal/average driving but if you put any real weight behind them then they get about 10-12 towing. But a f150 can tow 11300lbs is pretty good lol.

I dont own one but have read alot and i mean alot about them.
