new torch, hoses, gauges, 5 tips and cart for a Benjamin... How could I say no
Other than the cheap o rings I'm having to replace, I have no complaints. So far the only issues I have run into have been from the size of the torch rather than the fuel type. At work there are a bunch of different acetylene torches of various age and type and I notice little difference in them compared to my cheap HF propane outfit on anything under 1/4.

That being said, I don't put it through heavy use. You can tell the lack of quality, however it could easily do enough work to pay for its self and buy a better one.

I should add that I just use propane tips and a propane hose I got from a welding supply store. Right or wrong I just use the regulators it came with. Thanks to all the advice I got on this thread it was quick and easy.

Thank you beardo, it will be mostly light duty cutting stock and projects around the house, small jobs that have been passed because of no available equipment. I will grab the propane hose as I'm in it pretty cheap, gauges will be the same and two tips are for propane so got enough for the learning curve at least.
Patriot I did not even think about tapping into the propane here which is amazing because the outdoor grill is already hooked up to the big tanks with a shutoff right there at the grill. A simple swap out perhaps a fitting and I have More than enough propane. Although there are a few grill sized half tanks around here that could get used up. Thanks for the "Duh" moment
Been a looooong time since I torched something.

Have you ever run propane for welding?

You can't weld with propane. It just won't get hot enough. I believe you can braze with it but I have never tried. I'm going to add an acetylene tank and hose so I can swap between the two because I want to try my hand at gas welding.
