    1994 F150
Extended Cap and 8' box with cap

I pull a 6'X10' trailer behind to load the scrap in. The ramp makes it much easier to load appliances then lifting them into the bed. Much less wear and tear on the truck as well.

This picture was taken when I was cutting apart some old school buses at a farm.

The cap makes it nice to store my tools and keep them dry, don't want to be without one.

is that you in the pic CMHN ? looks like you're taking a big swig of something good ! What did you use to cut the buses ? Sounds like a fun job.

No, that's my nephew, it was in the summer and he wanted some money for a video game so he came out with me and helped scrap. Nothing like earning your own money to make you appreciate what you are buying.

I used my saw-zaw for the body and a torch for the frame. It took us a week each bus, that's cleaning it out, cutting it and hauling it to the scrap yard. We got a little over $700 a bus and we had 7 buses to do. Made out pretty well those couple months.

Obviously, you didn't get the memo that you can't make any money at this.
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

No, I must have missed that memo.

I don't do this full time, its a part time gig to raise money for toys. But I do pretty well, I'm known in the area and get calls and emails regularly to pick up scrap.

Here, is my newest find, after I get it plated it will save some wear and tear on my Taurus. Pull the back seats and there is 7' inside room, cause with e-scrap you might get something good enough to sell and you don't want it getting wet till you can test it.

Nope that's another one that was given to us, just needs one leg replaced on the frame. We're going to set it up behind the other one for a staging area. We had a bad storm go thru the area the other day(weather service thinks it was a F0 tornado) and the canopy stayed up thru it all.

That's ok, I only paid $225. for it, just need to fix the rear brake line. When it falls apart, I can take it to Ft.Wayne and scrap it for 500.

That other junk truck??? There is nothing Junk about it!!! How Dare You!!! Its a 92' Chevy. lol My dad is at fault for all of the rust, he decided to start putting primer on and didn't use sealer primer so it just absorbs water and you see the end result lol. That truck has done anything I've wanted or asked it to do and more. Gotta love a good Chevy. I'm pushing 300,000mi right now.
Actually I'm looking for a heavier truck like a 3/4 or 1 ton because I have all of the body parts for the 92' stored in my shed waiting for paint. Might of found a great deal on a new bed $150 no rust or dents. Gonna give the old girl a face lift this winter. Haha. After that she will be my project truck/garage queen.

My picking truck is a 2008 Ford Ranger. Didn't buy it for that, but works well for it and gets great gas mileage. I've got an F350 and trailer for bigger stuff and for hauling the stuff in.
