    Stolen tools

    Grrrrrrrrrrr.

An entire box lifted out of my enclosed truck. Thankfully not my largest or most often used box.

Identity pretty certain, but not a witness to be found. Part time helper now back to being full time unemployed.

Faith in human nature taken down a notch this week.

To steal a mans tools is to steal his income...

Its the one thing that REALLY pizzzzez me off.
Since most of the time they don't even know how to use them correctly anyway.

The rest of the time they don't even know how to sell them correctly. Sorry that happened to you, it always feels like someone punched you when they steal something you've worked for. In fact, I think I'd rather be punched than stolen from, at least I'd get to retaliate.

    Haha, not in NewZealand.
If you catch someone burgluring your house, if you hurt them you get charged with assult.

Last person I caught and held till Police arrived, as the police were leaving, one asked "yah get a few punches in eh?"
"No! Because that NOT how things are supposed to be done" I answered. I know he was 'fishing'.

If you didn't give them a cup of tea, you'd be deydrating them, too hot, scalding them, too cold, inducing hypothermia..

I have every intention of making a false tool board, all the broken but still looking ok tools....

Only replaced a few of the essentials. The bill so far = $120.

<sigh> The only thing lower than a child molester is a guy that steals your tools.

You're just as well off to be rid of him. If not that, then it might have been something worse later on.

Actually you can have the wife(got rid of that mess a long time ago), I don't have any money and if you'd like to go on enjoying life with your left and right hands you will do well to leave my tools be. That's my take. Sorry to hear about your tools OP, I'm gonna have an extra brew in honor of that.

He's lucky. I'm old and don't give a *hit. We have 2 gator ponds here on the property. The very much enjoy a little trolling at the end of a rope,

All they can do to me is put me in jail, give me a bed, feed me and, give me some one to play cards with !

"Don't ever fight with an old man in Florida, they will just kill you !"
"anyone who thinks scrappin is easy money ain't doin it right!"

Check on Craigslist, any other local places that buy stuff from people and you may find them. I have heard of someone finding there stolen tools on Craigslist and meeting the seller, than bringing the cops in.

Steel my tools, your life will be miserable. Molest a child, your life is done. Nothing worse than child molester in my view.

OP - I am sorry you lost your tools. My favorite place to buy tools is a pawn shop. Low investment, good return on investment.
