    My apartment workshop

Today, I added a platform to the end of my computer desk, which makes it an extension to my small assembly table. Platform is a bottom shelf from a bookcase mounted on 2x4s, assembly table is a sewing machine/table. I put a USB hub under it, which features a USB powered flexible light, and phone charger cord. A magnet strip across the front of the platform holds small clips and screws. If I get a USB powered soldering iron, I can plug it in there instead of running an extension cord across the room. I am currently attempting to build a semi-automatic small gauge wire stripper.

Storage for tools, parts, equipment, and paperwork:

Power tool workbench and scrapped components storage:

I also store extra appliances in my kitchen, and my pantry is full of scrapped TVs.

Great job making use of your small space. I have all the space in the world and I'm not that organized! LOL. Kuddos

Nice setup. I am with Hypoman, the more space you have, the less organization is required. I will be borrowing a few of your ideas, if that is okay.

Hope your not lugging scrap up and downstairs. I've been in an apartment for a couple years. I take up a side of the parking lot that was never used. Truck and van 2 trailers ice hut and a couple sleds. Our building just sold I'm waiting for my 60 or 30 day notice. Wish my storage unit was as organized as your living room. It's over burdened of real sale things. ...yard sale season

My wife is a tidy housekeeper (but livable) and I have the tendency of cluttering my workspaces. Whenever I put up a new workbench in my shop, it quickly becomes full of tools etc. and then I move on to another one which becomes the same. My office desk is the same way. My farmyard is not faring too well either. Admire your dedication to organization there, KillYrTV. By the way, I never watch TV. Never !! Computer is another story. (Now where is that keyboard. I know it's on my desk here somewhere.)
    LOL
