Anyone use a Wii balance board as a portable scale? I recently found one in the 100 to 200 cubic yards of commercial waste we process each week. Research has me thinking these can fairly easaly be repurposed as a portable scale. They are well built, use AA batteries, bluetooh to transfer data, have four load cells giving accurate ability of weighing up to 300 pounds. There is a free smart phone app that has been used for weighing people. Also found a few diy hacks that connect the balance board to pc's. Going to play with this idea and was just wondering what the SMF scrappers think?
