Bosch 1365

14" blade, can obviously take a metal cutoff disc too. Got it for $110 but I'm probably gonna sell it before I try to use this thing and hurt myself. I always thought it'd be cool to have one of these, but after running it, I don't think I wanna try it, plus it weighs almost 30 pounds.

Do these big saws like this and the gas ones jump around bad if you get off on your cut a little? Seems like maybe the weight would help against that. If I make my little grinder jump some while I'm cutting who cares, but this thing scares me.

I have a hitachi, similiar to that. Used it to cut coal car tracks a couple of years ago. Worked ok, but not as fast as a gas cut off saw. Other difference is the blade went in the opposite direction.

i just have my handle and guard mounted left handed, blade probably spins the normal direction, not sure if that's what you meant.

Mine spins in the direction of a circular saw. Sparks are thrown forward. Gas powered cutoff saw goes the other direction.
