    Mahindra Tractors

Anyone have any experience running Mahindra Tractor's? I'm mainly wondering if a 4540 can pull lift a C7 out of a semi. it would be nice if i could get one that would lift a c15 but I may just set up some sorta I beam hoist for that if needed. Only wondering because i know how sketchy and not really practical some of the weight ratings are on some of these tractors now a days. I also know sometimes you can even lift more than its rated for on occasion so i wasn't really sure. I know my Kubota Mx5000 used to struggle when around 1200lbs was in the bucket.

I've never run a Mahindra, but I've run tons of tractors- everything from a little 30HP Kubota to a Case IH MX285 (My God, that thing was a fun beast to drive). You're looking at a 31 PTO HP tractor. Your power will be okay, but she's going to be light. I think you'll need to make a 3 point toolbar and liberally ballast the back end to have a chance at it working safely. Power isn't your issue, weight is. I have different needs in E-Waste, but for a crusher/shredder/loader/"whatever the heck I need a tractor for that day" tractor, I'd rather ahve a 50 year old one than a new one. The new ones are just built light

yeah thats what i was looking at mahindra for. from the research i have done it seems they have alot of electrical issues but mechanically seem to be built way heavier than some of the other brands of the same horsepower. for my needs i can fix or run without most electrical systems when needed, but mechanically it needs to be able to take a beating if i'm gonna be using it. within two years of getting back from this deployment I think I'm trying to set up to be able to do big demo jobs or cut up trains, so what ever i get first will probably be my main loader for awhile till i can afford like an IT28 or sennebogen or something. I ran a Kubota Mx5000 for awhile and while the horsepower on that is more it was so light i don't think it coulda ever picked up a c7.
