Thanks. Yes, that's a useful guide but it doesn't mention "Ice-hardened". I'm wondering if anyone has used them.

According to the sales pitch on there website they use a "cryogenic hardening process" to make there blades last longer than the competition. Depending on the price of the blade I would say to give it a shot. On this ( http://www.knifeforums.com/forums/sh...hp?tid/802768/ ) site the people seem to think that there is a certain temperature the blades need to be hardened to too be effective. I'd be skeptical of the actual process milwaukee is using to "harden" these blades and whether or not they are actually cost effective.

Interesting site/thread. General consensus seems to be that "Ice-Hardening" is simply a marketing tool. Nothing really beneficial beyond raising the price. I really doubt that the blades are cooled to -300F or it'd be in their advertising.

I can probably give you a reveiw soon, I just found a brand new unused one of these in a box of construction debris I grabbed (I love when people throw away tools I can use).
