Its been a while since I used propane for cutting, but 10 psi for propane and 30psi for oxygen sounds like what I used.

Harris - nice torch - best there is. I've had mine over 30 years.
I would think anywhere from 4 to 6 psi any higher your torch will flame out or be impossible to light unless your turning on a wee bit of oxygen to assist with ignition on windy days.
I'm using an adjustable propane regulator without a gauge on my tank.
How much propane are you using per bottle of oxygen. I assume that your using the small or medium oxygen bottle.
You may have a blown diaphragm in the regulator or a leaky connection, but I'm sure that you have already checked the obvious.
usint a 20 lb propaine bottle and a 125 lb oxygen. went through 15 lbs of propaine cutting 20 ft of trailer frame. not sure how much Oxygen, but I remember I used to get 3 trailer frames out of one 20lb propaine and just over 1 bottle of oxygen.

I recently replaced my hoses because there was a hole in the oxygen line.
As I sit here, I wanna say I run the propane at about 6psi and the oxygen at about 20. Sometimes I have trouble keeping the cut going, though, because the flame doesn't 'preheat' the metal enough ahead of the cut.
That doesn't sound right, does it??? 7-8 o2 bottles would be expensive. Propane is dirt cheap. At Big R stores up here, a refill is only $12-14. a tank.I use 7 or 8 large oxygen to a 20 lb propane cylinder.

Yes it is right, the Mileage I get from a 20 lb propane cylinder is 8 large oxygen to one propane.
I' paying $77.00 for each large bottle of oxygen I purchase, I only have the oxygen on the truck to cut off cats otherwise - most of my cutting is done with the plasma.
Olddude,
You said that you used to get way better mileage out of your bottles, and that you replaced a leaky oxygen line, did you replace the propane one too?
Are you going through alot of tips? Did you accidentally replace your cutting tip with one made for oxy/ace?
