    granulator?

Other than the obvious, what is the diff between a plastic and copper granulator. It just seems to me that if you put the right blades and screen the machine would not know the diff. chopping insulated copper wire vs all plastic. I don't see design diff. if HP the same.
    Any experiance?

Try entering the word mill in the search box. Lots written about them. Very interesting pictures if they haven't been pulled down. I will also get you into the search at this site which is different from other sites I've used. Mike.

I called one of the wire recycling systems that were listed on flea bay. The owner/salesman spoke highly of his big system. I told him I couldn't afford any complete system and asked what part was most important. He said to by a used heavy duty granulator off ebay and buy his seperation table. The man was nice and talked to me for 30 min or so

I recommend you do a lot more scraping before you jump off that bridge. Get some money in your pocket and experience under your belt. Try sripping wire by hand for a while. Some like to while watching tv. I would stay away from stripping stranded wire in the house. All those little bits of copper wire stuck in the carpet, not good. Read more of the old posts there is much to learn here, Mike.

Now go beat the copper out of something, Miked
