basic scrapper tools

For those of you that run the roads, what do you can as far as tools go? I carry side cutters, 9-in-1 Greenlee screwdriver, 16oz rip claw hammer, 18" crowbar, bolt cutters but they suck, Crescent wrench, Channellocks and Vise-Grips. I just go the Dead-On tools Exhumer but I'm finding it near useless for this. Best used in the house. It's sexy though. I also carry a razor knife. Looking for more tips. Any suggestions?

Take your flashlight and a magnet.

Hammer, flashlight plus my phone has a light on it, magnet is always on my truck.

I always have a Fenix flashlight in my back right pocket. I also carry a fixed blade knife of some sort. I do have an awesome Estwing hatchet. I would love to wear it everyday but the sheath is backwards for me and I don't want to hang it from a hammer loop. I have magnets but I keep losing them.

Man, I will never forget hearing welcome to the jungle, finally a decent song!! That was a bad time for rock. I always like a good pair of Wiss Aviation snips for wire cutting, a short handle 3lb sledge, and a cordless scewdriver/drill. If you can find an old railroad spike puller, they are awesome for leverage and extracting buried stuff

I think, hand scraper is one of the best single tool. It is used to scrap metal from a surface. Razor knife is also good scraper tool used to cut, slice or paper etc.

i am guessing those old cherokees had not met scrapette yet. or maybe they did and perhaps that is why there are fewer cherokees?

I carry a small tool bag with all my "essentials".
Mostly because my truck runs poorly, so in-case I have to "ditch" it (don't want more than I can carry, besides that a tool box would take up valuable space/weight).

OFF TOP OF MY HEADsort of in order):

-Klien lineman pliers (sidecutters) (These are ALWAYS with me when I get out of truck).
-6 way screwdriver (the sockets fit MOST HVAC screws, other stuff)
-Klien electrical hammer (it has an awkward looking long nose, and straight claws, but great for demo ,IMO)
-Channel-lock pliers (two: one larger other smaller, blue handles, srry forgot the sizes)
-Basic english measurement sockets, and an extension for the socket wrench
-Allen wrench set: just a cheap "Husky" brand english measurement (all I've needed)
-Sometimes "Torx" set sockets..also just a cheap "Husky" brand set.(HATE Torx...stupid)
-Klien cable cutters :the plier size with red handles that look like finger removers.
-I Had a 3lb. hammer that DESTROYED whatever it hit, but it got stolen from back of truck.
-Flat screw-driver ,and two "stubbies"
-Cheap set of box end wrenches (english size)
-needle-nose pliers
-one vise-grips
-I keep my angle grinder (very valuable tool) at home since it's AC ...wish I had a battery one, or a power-inverter that could power it.
-I keep my hack-saw, and Monkey-wrench at home usually too (although I need them sometimes).
-Just got a small Bolt-cutters...

I'll think of more later , Gotta go, (I'm not at home, my window is missing ATM, and my tools are in the truck ...makes me nervous)...

Thanks Dumb. That's what I was looking for. I carry Knipex linesman and sidecutters. I have yellow handled Wiss snips. I have a Greenlee 9-in-1 screwdriver and some Craftsman screwdrivers. I keep a hammer and some crowbars. I keep Vise-grips and Channellock 420's. I have Crescent wrenches and Allen keys. Razor knife of course.

there are a couple of natives way back on my side of the family. along with some old black irish. however, i am not going to argue with a lady that carry's a hatchet and a gun. i am simply going to agree and then keep my mouth shut.

back to the point of this thread:

In my car i usually have vice grips, adjustable pliers, side cutter, ball pein hammer, couple screwdrivers, and i usually carry my electric Snap On screwdriver with me...makes removing stuff so much faster...plus i have a small tool box with cheap wrenches/sockets in it.
