What do you do when dolly tires go bad?

Buy new ones? Innertubes? Stopleak? Duct tape maybe? Used to be tires on 2 wheel dollys and wheelbarrels would last a while, now days they go bad after a year or two. Or do you just scrap it and get one with new tires?

Thanks Kris Kringle, I hadn't thought of HF, haven't been near one in 6 years, but i went to their website. They have the best deals I've seen on tires, and shipping might be only 6.99, flat rate. They have one that'll fit the wheelbarrow, but nothing that'll fit the hand truck. Guess i'll wind up having to get another one, my only choices near here are tractor supply or a home depot, both over in texas side.

Thanks Thor, why i was wondering any other options, I saw a wheelbarrow tire at a TSC in TN about 6 or 7 years ago for $15 and at that time a new 6ft steel WB was 29.95. I still wished i had got it tho. Someone gave me a riding mower and after i got it home and tried to air up the tires found they were all rotten, and to get new ones at Wmart was right at $150, i never went that far with it though. I'll have to check HF once more for some of those i guess, and see what their price is

I get dolly wheels/tires at HF. The 10" run 3.99 and the 12" run 9.99. I go through 4 or 5 a month, seems like the hubs are always breaking out of the wheels.

That's a better price than they had online for the 8". If they had all the ones i needed, i could pay shipping ($6.99) cheaper than a trip to TSC ($12 in gas)

actually that wheelbarrow has a tube in it yep. Guess i'll check at Orchelins and see if they've got tubes. The hand truck tires are both tubeless 8"

i buy pnuematic replacement tires at menards, only 9.99 and they last months, if im in a rough area where looks to be nails i use my dolly with hard solid wheels

i save the front tires from old snapper riding mowers. They work great. I have a half dozen just waiting for my next breakdown.

Do you have the car 'space saver tires' in the USA?

Common here, great as a oxy plant trolly.
