About a 30 year old Milwaukee.

Had this for about 6 or 7 years. I am hard on it and it keeps on tickin'.
Only thing I don't like about it is the lever that releases the blade broke. Looks like a chit design at best. I use a screwdriver to pop it open.
I'm with you on that. Solid tool except for that **** blade release lever. The first one I had broke the very first time I went to change a blade, just went back to the store and exchanged it no problem. I'll work the thing really hard without a second thought but when I go to change the blade I feel like I have to be gentle. Still, for the price I paid I'm a happy camper.
I wish every power tool lasted as long as a sawzall
I had a craftsman but it did not last long. Replaced it with a skil saw going strong over 7 years. I know it will not last as long as my father in laws millwakee it is over 30 years old as well.
I run a craftsman. 3 years old Never had any problems with it and I am hard on it. It also had a metal blade release lever so it should last awhile.
And all sawzalls are Milwaukee. All sawzalls are reciprocating saws but not all reciprocating saws are sawzall. Lol not trying to be an ass.

the above statement is true but heres my favorite, plus we have a 18v portercable, 18v dewalt, and a corded boshe
we have two of these, smaller and easier to crawl under a car with, plus a slower rpm so it dont wear our the blades as fast , this is an 18v model, northerntool right now has an offer on 12v tools where on certain kits where you can get a free one with a rebate, we are going to get the 12v 3/8 ratchet kit and get the 12v hackzall for free 149.99 total pretty good deal
I have a craftsman sawzall from 1982 that I still use. Holy cow!
