    Honestly for $400 I figured just what man of you has mentioned...I'll use it till it's dead, then either sell it for parts, or Scrap it. All the extra weight in it is to counterbalance it, and yes it will fit a standard pallet. That was my concern as well. It has a 42" inner depth. I think we're in pretty good shape.
