I have developed my own policy regarding the removal of any scrap metal! Unless the articles are out on the curb during trash night, I always ask the owners FIRST! before I remove scrap metal. I drive around here quite often and see alot of metal on owner's property. I always ask the owner! It is the best policy a scrapper can have and remember.....pass it on. SCRAPNSCRAP

A lot of times when you ask they will give you more if they have any. Also give them your phone # and ask them to call if they get any more. I have picked up a lot of extra scrap this way.

YEs just the other night I was going threw the neighborhood and there was a kids wagon sitting by the curb with a bunch of junk wood. I did knock and ask and low and behold the wagon was not trash. I gave her my card and she said she would be calling me when she had stuff to get rid of.
