Electric Milwaukee sawzall and cordless ryobi drill. Had the sawzall for 10 plus years and the drill for at least 5 yrs. never a problem with either one. B & D are garbage imo, and never owed any Dewalt tools but never heard anything bad from anyone who has.
i love the torch blades. to me the blade makes all the difference. a good blade in a crappy saw works way better than a not so good blade in a great saw. i like the dewalt cordless, but the batteries dont seem to last me long enough. i have a milwaukee corded that is a beast that even my kids havent been able to kill. i hate the cord, but not as much as running out of batteries and realizing that the others arent charged yet. wish i could blame that on the kids but..... the only real downfall on the milwaukee that i have is that i need a wrench to change the blades out on it.Quote:

I picked up an almost new milwaukee last weekend while driving the wife to yard sale's , guy had an almost new sawzall with a pack of blades , and a new hammer drill in there metal cases , Wife called me over , the guy saw us looking at them and stated , " I know what there worth , and I won't take a penny less then $ 10 for each of them .

We use to use dewalt cordless sawzalls and a snapon impact then switched to Milwaukee ( 28v ) sawzalls, impact, drill and even circular saw and love them, the impact is a horse but it is very heavy but worth the power, not sure if it would take off 1000 lug nuts,(50 cars) I would guess closer to 25 cars. And other thing I really hate about it is it has a detent to hold the socket on that you have to stick a nail or something through the hole in impact socket to get it off.

i was at lowes a couple days ago and seen this little saw and just had to have it, its about the same size as my 18v milwaukee hackzall, ive been wanting a new corded saw because my super sawsall the chuck is wore out and will only hold the thicker blades, and my bosch the plug will vibrate out. anyway i wanted a 10 to 13 amp saw and was looking at milwaukees and makitas (home depot) and decided to goto lowes and as much as i wants red or green i had to go with yellow 129.99 ive only used it for one converter but i like it alot

I usually lean towards Dewalt for things that take a lot of abuse (skill saw, screw gun, impact gun, etc.) and Ryobi for light use stuff (table saw, 4.5" angle grinder, sanders). The only exceptions I make are for sawzalls (Porter Cable) and the 7" grinder (Makita). Porter Cable's "Tiger Saw", their version of the sawzall might be the best tool I have ever owned. The head rotates 360 degrees which is wonderful and you just can't kill it. 7 years of using it about 3 days a week and it still destroys everything I want it too. Combined with Diablo blades it is unstoppable.
