I just got my first reciprocating saw, and need to buy some new blades. Which blades do you guys like best for general purpose metal cutting?

my opinion: most cost effective, Milwalkie
I was wondering the same thing on blades thanks for the post.
I currently use Milwaukee Torch blades, they seem to work pretty well. Haven't had any snap, bend or wear out incredibly fast yet.

I gotta say that I've been pleasantly surprised by how long the free blade that came with my HF saw has lasted. I've cut up a screen door, and 2 A/C rads so far, plus all of the loops from a 3rd a/c rad.. I've only been cutting al and cu, but so far the blade seems good. I don't honestly know how much life to expect out a blade, so maybe I just haven't cut up enough stuff to wear out even a cheap blade.
When they get hot cutting steel is when the teeth start disappearing. Like others have mentioned when your cutting something steel try to move the blade around so it doesn't get real hot in one place.
