Wherever you're located, though, keep in mind that some of the old CRT monitors, such as the IBM 5153 color monitor, are highly collectible. Also, there is still a market for older "multisync"-type CRT monitors because they're compatible with both older and newer video standards, so they're still used for arcade games, vintage gaming systems, vintage computers, etc. A lot of the older video standards (such as CGA, for example) have horizontal refresh rates that are too low for newer CRTs and LCDs. 15KHz SVGA Monitors - CoCopedia. Generally, if you find a multisync monitor (in decent condition) that's capable of handling 15KHz horizontal frequency, there should be somebody out there who will want to buy it from you.
