    Fused Yoke

    I picked up a 28 in tv this morning and when I opened it up to strip it I noticed there was no screws holding the yoke in place. Upon closer inspection I read a label on the vacuum tube that said "fused yoke do not attempt to remove."
    Looking under the yoke I saw that that it was attached with a large amount of epoxy.

    Needless to say I was disappointed, but I found a CRT on my back from dropping the stripped TV off at Bestbuy so its all good.
