now as far as monitors go check apple. they used to accept other brands and provide a prepaid lable and you just paid to package them. the down side is they must be weighed and COMPLETE. no snatching the goodies first.
My understanding of the federal law was the loophole is that you buy a new TV and they take the old one. Not don't buy anything and then bring them 4/5.
Luckily for me my city has a recycling center at the dump and they take it all. Free to residents.
