    I've been lucky and haven't ether. Some good advice is if you ever find a gun,turn it in. You can get in a crap load of trouble if you keep it. It could be stolen or used in a murder. I don't find it worth the trouble that may come from keeping one.

    Yeah if I buy a vehicle, I own all the contents as well, unless an specific item is previously prior to me taking possession, period ! That cd player, which has a serial number, could be and is more likely stolen than a 22. If you find a desert eagle in a 200$ car I would be supiscous, but people misplace or forget guns as well as anything else.
    Why would you need to "turn it in "? Do you run the #'s on a cd player, or just chalk one up for profit ? Anything you find in the car could be hot.
