I cut it out and brought it home and took it apart. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if i have gold of if i am seeing brass and being to hopefull. Pics below

Gold or not, it's probably worth more to the core buyer than as scrap.

Gold plugs into gold and I'm sure that applies to vehicles also. You should be able to reclaim the gold pins out of it, there is buyers for them here.

I know the GM computer I found in the mud at the yard had a big wide gold plug-in so the car side harness would be gold also.

Shoot, I wouldn't sneeze at palladium either, $574.00 still better than copper!
Does palladium look like white gold? Cause these boards I pull out of Dish amps have a whitish look to them (on the circuit traces), they don't have the typical "gold" color to them.

Sorry. Looks like I misunderstood the original question. My core buyer also gives a reasonable price on harness with ends still on, so I don't mess with it. Maybe I'm missing out, but I chop it out, and only worry about discarding the plastic loom cover, so I don't mind. I don't have a buyer near me either. It's a road trip every 1-2 years. This year, it looks like we might start meeting annually at a place where I make a planned trip anyway.....fingers crossed.

The sleeves look like gold plated but I would have to test them to make sure. The palladium is plated onto the connector and is more of a dullish white color.

Yes palladium can have a dullish white color to it. Boards usually don't have palladium used in the circuit traces unless it is very small traces in circutry on chip's. Traces are mostly lead (some gold) for older board's and tin for newer board's, the color you are seeing could be oxidized tin.

Core buyers only buy selective ecm's ranging from $5 to 60$, most older GM ecm's are worthless. Dodges are hit and miss.
