where to scrap an old camper (tow away) in Long Island NY?

I was wondering if you guys know any scrapyard metal in Long Island NY?

I mean, I have at least two customers that want to scrap their old camper, but I ask in a couple of these yards, and they not accept it

first of all, make a trailer and sell it. second, if you're not gonna make a trailer, cut it up and its magically no longer a camper.

i assume the reason they wont take it is because it requires a title (or eqwuivalent proof of ownership)

Most scrap yards dont take campers due to the amount of wood, insulation and crap inside. I myself, only take them if they are gutted. good luck

There's a bunch that lives beside the 4 lane highway over on Texas side, that tore all the aluminum siding off of one, and left the rotten wood shell just sitting there in the drive, about 50 ft off the road (they might be rednecks ; )
