S10 Blazer, how much are they worth on average?

Me and my dad's old 93 S10 Blazer has finally given up the ghost, sustained a blown head gasket about a month ago, and due to the age and condition of the truck (almost 20 years old and rusting out pretty good in the body, frame still OK though) and the fact that it has almost 200,000, my dad decided not to bother doing the head gasket replacement. We're currently getting ready to send it off to that parking lot in the sky, but before we actually do, and I obviously ask this question to those who have scrapped one of these before: on average, what can I expect for it?

Depends on your yards pricing. Right now could be any where from $300-$500 with no work. Sell the cat,radiator,battery,battery cables, wiring seperate for more money. You need to ask your yard if you need to prep the vehicle. Some yards require gas tank removal, tire and fluid removals. My yard does not I bring it in however I want.

Why not pull the head and see how it looks? Check the wear on your cylinder walls and then decide, head gaskets can't be that much, and you're halfway home if you decide to get one and fix it, and go for 300k. Worst case you've gained a good sized piece of short iron
