    our job is in jeopardy!!!!!!!!!

im here to tell all scrappers, you better get what you can get now, our future is in jeopardy!!!

I hope that was dramatic enough, I let my school use one of my cars for a fundraiser for cancer, they wanted to beat cancer out. these kids done the below with a baseball bat and they earned $300+ for their charity, the car didn't really have any damage at all, we removed the windows and mirrors before we delivered the car, I picked it up tonight and this is what I found. I laughed so hard, if they can do this with a bat we are all in trouble once they use a cutoff wheel and a sawzall

All that and I didn't see any of your advertising on the car that you "donated" to their cause.

I'd say it was a good way for a Dodge to meet its maker!

you could say an intrepid is a cancer, the motors either knock, or the solenoid pack in the transmission is bad, I even had one knocking that wouldn't shift, a truly bad car. ive hauled lots of them now and they are usually pretty clean like this one was

I wouldn't worry about it. To be a good and profitable scrapper it takes a whole lot of smarts, some muscles, the ability to use tools, and think outside the box. How many pent up enraged teenagers do you think possess all the above. Maybe 2 out of ten. I know, I use to teach.

Yeah the engines have a rep for being JUNK.. I see a lot of them up for sale in the CL car listings.. BUT folks still think with that junk motor they are worth $600-$1000.. Sigh.. I have yet to snag one personally!

As most Craigslist adds claim...just needs a little TLC and great for a new driver.

its funny you say that, I got a t-ball bat out of a ford ranger today completely unrelated, they did have a blast is what I was told, my youngest said she hit the hood and my oldest just watched. I told the school if they wanted to do it again next year to give me some more time and I could get them more cars and they may be able to have contests of some sort

There's a church or something that has a car or two at the fair every year for charity. The yard that supplies the car puts their advertising on the car.
They sell the hits at 2 for $1.00 with a sledge hammer. After a few days it is beat to pieces. They end up donating a few thousand to their charity of the year. The free advertising is invaluable with all the people walking by and watching them beat it up.

If that car was made back in the 50's or 60's it wouldn't look like that, they would have broke the bat. LOL
