set a personal best record today

today me and dustin set a new record for us with one truck, we hauled 7 cars today. I think our best before was 6 but hauled a couple on the wrecker.

its not as bad as it sounds, we picked up one about 15 miles away a Yukon, stripped the good stuff and hauled it to the yard,

then we went to john henrys, I bought 6 from him last Friday and went and got the last 5 today. not really sure how far it is to the yard but just a few miles. we cut converters, took off aluminum wheels and drained the gas at his yard and then hauled them in, the hardest part was it just being Monday after a nice weekend, there was a line everytime

while we were dropping off the last car, the bailbondsman called and had a ford expedition to pick up, I met him about half an hour away and picked it up. I still have it on the trailer and will strip it and take it in in the morning

ive got two to get tomorrow already and a lead on another, I think summer is here
expect the worst and hope for the best

we ended up with a good week, we ended up with a little cash and two extra cars. we had a garage cleanout on Wednesday I think it was and ended up with some really good stuff and some scrap metal. in the pics below ill just touch on the highlights as we kept a lot more, hint: google can be your friend if you want to know values, also the pump I got two of them and its a 5.5 horse intead of the 3 or 3.5 that are advertised.

the second set of pics are washers and dryers industrial type. the pic is dustin with one of the stainless washers(if there ever is a smf calendar I don't recommend any of my guys ). I got these because of my yard, my yard manager called me and asked if I could pick them up. 5 washers 5 dryers, 600 to 700 lbs apiece. we only pulled the easy wire and the motors and have a couple of the stainless covers still to cash in on. I got breakage for the washers and shred for the dryers. I understand most yards won't do this initially, mine wouldn't either at first but now I get several calls a week from them now either directly or because the girls give out my number. needless to say we are buying pizza for the yard again on Tuesday
