Thumbs up European Day On my Trailer lol

yesterday i got my first Mercedes and my first Volvo
1986 Mercedes 190E with a 6cyl instead of the 4cyl. lowered scored a new Sony cd player and some pioneer speakers.

and a 1980 volvo 243E 4 door. this car is spotless for its age.

I've moved almost a hundred cars in the last couple years and haven't had such nice cars i got them cheap, just sold the Mercedes for double what i paid for it. took an hour but i got it started and drove it around the parking lot at home right when the buyer showed up. its a good day when i can turn 235 dollars into 600. The Volvo is still on the trailer maybe tomorrow I'll try and get it started.

they guy i bought the cars from had them in two different storage sites. Im getting better at explaining to customers that i don't see a rare car or hard to find car i see 3800lbs of mixed metal, they always want way more then current scrap prices, and i don't blame them. Poor guy i quoted him 250/260 pr car, but they both didn't have cats, brand new exhaust manifold back..good for re sale bad for scrappers. had to at lest cover my diesel coffee bill, but they called me to put cash in their hands and remove the cars so they don't have to pay storage fees anymore...WINNING ...now to sell that Volvo and pay some bills and order some fuel lines.

and the volvo has 4 brand new winter tires in the trunk on rims....that's another easy 200 in my pocket..."winning" today is good. good week after being forced out of my other full time job, its nice to have some diesel in the tank and coffee in my hand. also found my daughter a brand new Disney bike at curbco tonight

    Nice score indeed Cummins!

Not surprised the Mercedes went fast, I got some friends down here who go nuts over the things. They all work at the same store, an everyone from the owner down has a benz..LOL.

just sold the volvo for 800. kid showed up that loves old volvos, i did't know there was a choke in side...car fired right up he drove it home lol. i kept the winter tires there on kijiji for 200,

so far i spent 470 on the two, sold for 1400, $930 in my pocket. for about 20 mins then it was in some one elses pocket. truck parts, rent, beer tent at the highland games, 20 dollars in diesel. money sucks it never sticks around long
