Mine is 220/ton as well
Mine is 220/ton as well
150, car was full of shred, only pulled cat, rad,fan and rims, only cashed the car and cat and battery, I morally pull the starter ac pump alternator and brakes too. Sometimes the wipper motor, I was really pressed for time, quick flip
$190, $185 and $170/ton.. Ouch
Well maybe you guys are getting paid better on the Non-ferrous stuff.
My market is good for steel (Now up to $240/ton)
But my Alum is at .42/lb
Insulated copper dropped to .70/lb on #2
Everything Non-Ferrous here is going to the dogs
I'm so into scrapping.. When my Steel Toe Boots Wear out, I cut the Steel out of them and recycle the Toe!
i took a big load of aluminum siding in today, 55 cents a lb, 2 out of 4 yards were at that price others were just insulting.
ewaste went from .09 to .07 in the last week.

Cummins: .55 isn't bad for Alum Sheet here. I have been getting .50/lb for literally YEARS.. Only time I got .55/lb was when I spoke to the yard beforehand and was doing a siding strip gig.. He gave me .55 instead of .50
I AM going to start hoarding my copper wire though.. .70/lb is very insulting. I'll just hold it a bit until they decide to come back to a decent price!
Speakig of insulting. A while back i called Barrie Metals about prices for cars. "140 today" said ok what if they are prepared. "140!" seriously? 140? How do you justify THAT when all the other yards where at 190 at the time. Felt like telling them to f*** their pants right where they stood.
If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck at all...
