    Focker:
So you are saying you make 100-150 on average per car, just do more volume to get numbers.
Seems pretty decent. Good for you, man.
Sometimes wish I could quit my fulltime job and do this instead, but with slow times and low prices, glad I am not.
But there are also the times where I miss out some because I am working full time or can't keep up with cash flow.
Too many cars, no time to cash them in so I miss out there.

Seems like tail lights, head lights, sun visors and their clips and any cheesy plastic crap that always breaks do well on Ebay and are easy to harvest. Plenty of other stuff depending on the model and how much time you have to spend.

Yeah it usually is. Best thing bout selling them Vic's for demo cars is they don't care what you pull off of it as long as its a complete rolling chassis. I've sold several this way, after pulling Motor/trany, bat, cats, heater core, and gobs of car wiring. Usually can sell a "roller" for more than I paid for the whole car and have all the goodies I pulled to boot !

Tater is correct. I have tried in vein to pull a crown vic or towncar around here.. just for that reason.. You can buy a crown vic and gut the SOB get every nugget of goodies out of it and STILL sell the roller for $500 bucks in my area of the country. Some of these guys around here will spend $4-$6000 on the engine they put in a car that will be smashed to bits.. but the prize money and the "glory" are worth it to them *shrug*

    For shipping items on eBay?
Most of my items have FREE shipping >> Gets you the auto DSR 5 Star for shipping cost
I ship using Priority mail because I figure the Buyer wants the item ASAP to fix their vehicle
    I use the Priority Regional rate A & B box's a lot
Followed by the Priority Medium and Large box's
    EVERYTHING ships double boxed
ECM's most times ship in FRE (Flat Rate Envelope)
I know which box I plan to use for shipping before I list the item and add the cost to ship to zone 8 into the minimum amount I want for the item plus eBay & PayPal fees = Start price
When someone close makes the purchase that is additional profit in my pocket

I also sell Internationally >> Item is listed with FREE USA shipping and Calculated International shipping
So the Domestic shipping built into the price is pure profit with International sale

Recent tail light sale went to Italy

yeah so if you sell a item for $25 and it cost $!0-15 to ship it then you didnt make very much really.
Did you have the price a buy it now or did it get bid up to that high.
I also love you auction page i have been trying to figure out a way to make a nice listing like yours.

Think you could give me alittle help lol.

Find a couple sellers who pages you like

Copy and paste from theirs to yours
OF Course I am not recommending you copy (steal) there entire page
    BUT
Take the best of everyone to make your own

Mine is very dated and needs some help, I just never seem to have the time

I would be happy to help you, send me a PM with what item of mine you were looking at and what parts you like and didn't like
Key to selling on eBay is good photos and lots of them
Very time consuming in the beginning but once you get some templates up and running it gets faster with each listing
Like for side mirrors, Tail Lights, Head lights, Climate controls and ECM's
I just overwrite the photos, Hollander number and Hollander information
    everything else stays the same

yeah once you get the first few going and have your templates set. Then you just add the new photo and type the new description and everything else really stays the same.it is just them first few.
I like the one you linked on here how do you do the linking to other items and emailing you stuff.

I agree and sometimes it's hard to justify taking the time to sell these things, but then I remind myself that if left on the car I would get about .10 cents a pound for it...it all adds up in the end.

Just like the Ebaying I do, one or two 5.00 sales are not much but at the end of the month then you have a few hundred.
