    Auto core software???? National/core buyer?

I have done reaserch on software like RAS and the programs offered by car parts dot com but am unsure if they are either worth the money or I have enough volume. I am not interested in running a parts yard or shipping individual parts. Im looking for something along the lines of, enter vehicle, pull parts worth my time, company picks up parts, car to yard. I have plenty of space for cores. I am mostly hoping to find a system to avoid dealing with individual buyers but have better margins than dealing with the yards. Thanks in advance for any answers.

    I use RAS cores
They don't charge for the use of their system
At least I have never gotten a bill

You would have to factor in the cost of shipping

They are only about an hour from me, Nice ride and something to do on a rainy day
I go about once every 60 days and get a check for $600 - $1000 for items I would have otherwise received 9 Cents a pound if I left the parts in the car

    Auto core software???? National/core buyer?

holy smokes johnny!!!! I have researched them 3 or 4 times and never got very far. They have diffrent sites and some are not user friendly. However because of your endorsement I googled them again and scrolled down on google and found their blog and it lays it out real good. Thanks man, it sounds like just what I'm looking for. I will give them a call in the morn. Even if I have to pay freight I will still be better off than the yard.

    Easy system
Give the vin and it lists cores and what they are paying
Some are not worth the time to open the hood >> Water pumps for a dollar
But they get ALL my alternators >> They pay better then my yard for the scrap ones (zero value) and I seem to get a lot of $15.00 to $30.00 ones
I don't even bother to core the Alternators, They all go into the box and they sort them

Dose the softwhere show medium duty or semi parts by any chance? mostly just curious.

In a perfect world I could stock pile some of the vehicles that are worth completely stripping as a good shop activity when its -20. I find that frostbite sometimes effects my motivation.

i recently went through all the hoops and started a ras core account....in the beginning they called me about 3 times a day wanting to know what i had for them...then i explained i would let them know as soon as i had enough to justify a pickup....well after about 3 to 4 weeks i finally had enough cores to fetch around 600 bucks.....when i went to the site to arrange the pick up they had me locked out...

i called them and asked them what gives....they said i didnt have enough volume for them. and very rudley accused me of using there software for my own gain....after telling them what i had they changed there tune...then said they would re instate my account...i told them to job it you know where....i will just scrap or ebay what i saved..unless i find another buyer
