How would you get max value for this 93 Dodge van

I'm doing some long over do cleanup work around the shop. Have a 93 Dodge mini van, we used as a crew shuttle and now it just sits! The transmission needs work, engine is shot and it's just old. Still starts and moves on own power, but for me it's never going on the road again. The options I'm thinking of: just running add selling it as is, call junk yard "come get it", Maybe removing Cat, core items (battery, starter, alternator, etc) and as much wire and metal. Just to see what is the value of scrapping a vehicle. I don't really want to get into doing vehicles for scrap. Just have this one van and want it off the property, but at the same time get as much value for it with as little effort (Don't we all). Any Ideas or thoughts from the professional scrappers, thanks in advance.

I'm no major in cars but max payment with the least work would be to sell it as is . I don't see any cars that run for less than $800 in my area. Maybe list a add for $800 and go to $600 or $500 . I noticed you said you didn't want to get into doing vehicles for scrap so I'm basing my answer from what you said . I would think you could get a little more than scrap value from a local . Good luck . Does it have aluminum rims ? They pay nice btw , I buy auto scrap but have not parted a full auto yet if that makes sense.

I just posted my first Craigslist Ad listing it for parts or as is for $700! Have to just see how it goes. It does start, transmission only goes in reverse now! When we parked it two years ago, it was only slipping bad, now only reverse. Last two years we used it for a storage space on wheels!

I do know the early minivans (dodge-plymouth) had a problem with plugged up trans filters screwing up the transmissions. The garages would do a trans. flush by sucking it out the filler tube which would pull all the crap/dirt thru the filter and plug it up. They ruined many a trans. until they figured out what was causing it.
