    Volkswagen Catalytic Converter Help

    I got a VW Cat and Pre cat I got quoted at $58 for the cat and 20 for the pre cat. i think this is low, from looking at sparrow metals but these are my first cats....

    Numbers on cat:

    VW AG DE VWK
    1KO 131 701 BQ
    E16-072 44/06







    Pre Cat Numbers:

    VW AG DE LEO

    Aurecia

    Every buyer is different, but that is how I would classify and price these converters. The newer VW cats aren't quite as good as the ones from around the 98 to 2002 era. The new VW diesels are a different animal, of course.
