Tire Rubber Stuck On Aluminum Rim

I was given a rim from a car that was in an accident and it still has some rubber attached to it. It looks like the tire was cut down the middle to remove so there is a loose ring of rubber and one that is stuck or fused to the rim. Any easy ways to get it off? Any input is welcome.

Sawzall through the bead and the rim (If you are going to scrap the rim). If not, you will need to pry the ring off with brute force. Tires are much easier to remove with the tire still intact.

Tire Rubber Stuck On Aluminum Rim

if it's aluminum, I would use a sawsall with a wood and nails blade. the fine blades get gummed up with aluminum

What i did was make a deal with the local used tire store, they remove all the tires and keep them we get the rims, in this case if the tire is ripped up might have to give him 5 bucks to remove the rubber from the rim believe me its worth the 5
