Is this a muffler or a cat?

Fairly certain it's a muffler, since it's the only thing there, but wanted to be certain before I haul it to the yard.

    It's a 1970 Ford F100.

    Muffler. Several ways to tell:

    Too big for a cat.
    Only thing in exhaust line.
    Cats started in 1975.

(If it's off the vehicle, look inside - a cat will have a screen on both ends.)
People may laugh at me, but that's ok. I laugh all the way to the bank.

    Thanks. That's what I suspected.

Not much worth pulling off these old junkers. Though it did have the factory tank and what appeared to be 2 after market saddle type tanks, all tied together with copper and brass, so I pulled that mess apart.

I know this threads a little outdated and all, but when it comes to glasspacks they usually sell for 5-10 bucks a piece used on craigslist...just a thought
