Can anyone help me id these cats?
Can anyone help me id these cats?
Any markings or numbers on the long one? It resembles a large Saab, but I have never seen one with the hanger brackets like that. The other one is a standard Jeep, $65-70 range.
it has a plate on it that says toyota and something like 30d01 or 3000i or 30d0i
The Toyota unit looks more like a resonator. Does it have a honeycomb core inside?
i havent seen any toyotas that big last one i checked that looked like it was hollow most are 1/4 the size of a football or a manifold unless a 4runner
thanks for all of your help. i think its off a toyota prius. I looked at a diagram for a 2004-2009 toyota prius and it looks like some type of resonator. dammm
The 04-09 Prius has two short, round cats, followed by that big resonator. The front pipe on those cars is a "double stick" with a GD3 and an EA6, and they're worth well over $200 for the pair. Newer Toyota hybrids and Camrys with California emissions usually have high-grade converters on them.
If there's anything good about a Prius, it's the core values on the salvaged parts from them. Good converters, the battery cells are worth $$, and even the smart keys bring $15-25 each.
