Scrap yards in the Phoenix area won't touch catalytic converters unless you can prove you own a shop that replaces them. I can sell them to scammers who hang around where I sell scrap. One guy said he will buy all I have and takes them in to California. I won't sell to them. Just rubs me the wrong way. Without a local legal buyer what's the use in hoarding them or even collecting them.

I just started scraping cars again, and am going to hoard the cats. I just want to learn a little more about the CAT game.
