    Tow Dolly Ratchets?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me exactly what tow dolly ratchets are made of? Is it metal? Brass? Or what is it?

If you get ones that are still in good condition but a bit rusted to where the ratchet wont move go to an auto parts store and get CRC Heavy Duty Corrosion.....I can't exactly remember lol but it's in a blue and white spray can. If you spray it on the gears heavily(both sides) and let it sit for a day or two it'll eat the rust off of them and work like brand new.
