I read this thread title and was about to freak out on someone. Please don't cut the old cars up. They don't make them anymore! I agree with Brandon, look at the HAMB (
http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/) I understand time is money and all that and space limits, etc. but if they are mostly complete and not crumpled up or flipped over or something, old rusty cars make awesome "rat rods" and they are really hot right now.
Even if you have parts of old cars laying around, I can GUARANTEE with a little effort you can sell them. For way more than scrap value too. 1970's and 80's stuff hasn't caught on yet so you may have no choice but to cut it up but do some research first. If this stuff has been on a farm since the 1930s or whereabouts, you could be sitting on a gold mine! It's all about patina for rat rods and I'd imagine those would have lots of patina. Any way you could post some pictures?
