I'm just curious what the people pulling rads are doing with the anti freeze. The other fluids I can figure out or find answers to, but the anti freeze seems to be a problem.

In the US the only restrictions are not to put it into a septic tank. Of course there are some common sense off limits also.
Just make sure you keep it where pets can't get to it. It's deadly to them. I drop mine off for free at a local repair shop and they recycle it.
Check with your municipality. In Ottawa, most garages will take it. If you're close to Ottawa, the following link will help.I'm just curious what the people pulling rads are doing with the anti freeze. The other fluids I can figure out or find answers to, but the anti freeze seems to be a problem.

Our local junkyard sells clean filtered used for a dollar a gallon. Just an idea,,

If you enjoy your freedom, thank a vet.
I have alot of older stuff that does not have overflow tanks. I filter and re-use the antifreeze.
i pour it into the oil
If you pour it into the oil then it makes it really hard to sell the oil.
im not selling it sperately, i just throw all the fluids into the engine oil filler and let my yard deal with it
Funny how the brain works sometimes isn't it. I could make the leap to figure out what to do with all the other fluids, but it never occurred to me to filter the AF and then sell it at a discount to others. Thanks all for bursting the brain fart bubble.
the oils i use to heat the garage and the antifreeze i bring to my work we recycle it and we pay a guy to come get it every month weather the tank is full or not .
AF does not go "bad", it can loose the rust inhibitor additive, mostly it get dirty. I pour mine into 5 gallon buckets with a lid, let it sit for 3-4 weeks(dirt and rust goes to the bottom) and then reuse it or give it away to the poor drivers with old junkers in my area.
I feed the neighborhood cats with it. Just kidding. Where I used to live one of the local parts stores had a recycle day every month. oil, antifreeze, you name it. It all got poured into the same collection bin and they did whatever with it. Just come and drop it off.
I would assume there is something similar around here, but have not had to look for it yet.
I know Autozone and Oreilleys will take your old oil but I'm not sure about A.F.I would assume there is something similar around here, but have not had to look for it yet.
