Shred weight
Shred plastic? Or throw it in with the scrap metal when scrapping a car? I service a couple of collision shops and their plastic parts go into the dumpster.

I was looking for value in the plastic. I have heard there may be companies that take plastic bumpers but I don't have any names
If you have enough of it it's certainly worth something.
When I worked in plastics brokering we had a load of the bumper material.
I forget what it was called but, I believe it was a combination of HDPE and HMW.
At the time it was something like $ .15.
That was for truckload quantities though.
Plastic recycling is big business.
If you do some research in your area I'm sure you could find a buyer.
