You need a 1/4 inch impact driver for this job trust me hundred times quiker than any way I've tried before I got mine and yes impact drivers work just as well in reverse

Scored my craftsman for 125 and it paid for its self before first job was half done

Be careful with power cords if they are to long you will lose amperage and burn your tools up

Oh its 19.2 volt cordless my bad

And batteries in the impact driver outlast regular drill. 4 to 1 took off entire side off 75 foot mobile home and both the fore and aft also all on one battery

Don't forget bout the radiator and all the other gravy vehicle staples battery, cat , etc

Prolly should if its 1979 or newer I know a Lot of mid 1980's cars and pick ups running round here in kansas that haven't had em for prolly 20 years ! Just depends worth looking for tho

fordsix, I never knew that. I'd have to hook up about six 100 ft. cords at least to reach the camper. Maybe I won't be doing that then.

I am taking notes here of all the tips so I make sure I don't forget any.

There are so many motors and fans on this thing its amazing for such a smallish size camper. The generator is an Onan, I looked that brand up and the new ones are square, they dont look anything like the one in the camper.

look up its model number NA. I hadn't thought about the siding on those being stapled, trailer houses that i've seen mostly screwed, just thought they'd be about alike.

I'd have to hook up about six 100 ft. cords at least to reach the camper. Maybe I won't be doing that then.

You need to be aware that you would have a significant voltage drop with that length, resulting in higher current draw for your power tools. This would affect performance and possibly cause a failure (burn up the motor, wiring, switches, etc.).

Five hours working on it today = all chairs out and front doors off. Furnace, sink, some wiring and a motor I'm not sure what it went to is out. Four windows are out. Bunch of outlets and bathroom mirrors out and all wooden doors inside are out. Some of the cabinets and all cabinet doors are out as well as wooden bathroom door. oh and the fold out bed is out. Battery for generator is out and that sucker was heavy! Cover over generator is out also. Tree still in the way lol. Water pump for sink is out. I'm to the back of the camper now - you can see the stove on the right and the fridge is across from the stove. Was working on the back door and lost my 1/4 drill bit in the leaves, couldn't find it anywhere. Went through 2 batteries for my drill and two of my dads for his. Those dang cabinet doors had 16 freaking screws each! How many screws does it take to hold a little freaking door on to the wall??? I have a metal pile and an aluminum pile going and I've already used all my buckets, have to find some more! If I never see another dang screw in my life......

Got a Costco? They go through a lot of buckets. Or check with a local bakery/deli.

Put a magnet on a string and sweep the area where you last had that bit.

Just a note on the fridge, don't even think about trying to dismantle it. I did one years ago when I was young and stupid. The ammonia about knocked me out.

That's so true Mech, and it greatly lights up the fact that the easiest way to dissemble many things is simply a reversal of the assembly process

We take them apart the same way Idaho does but we have a bigger skid steer and grapple. I can do one start to finish in a few hours.

NOW on that fridge, DO NOT CUT THE LINES insted get upwind of it and it upwind of anyone and shoot the big tube on the back. It will spue amonia but when it is disapated it is safe to load and haul off. Amonia is a refergrant but not a CFC or ozone depleter. BUT IT CAN KILL you... Be careful!

I wont pay for a camper but I will demolish em all day long. Might want a dust mask too, Lungs get heavy breathing that stuff.
