Does a title need to be in my name to scrap it? Ex. I buy a **** truck at an auction for 200 n scrap it for 500, if i take it to my yard with the title does it need to be in my name or do i just need the physical title?

I'm not sure what your city,county, state laws are. Making a phone call to your yard would be your best bet.

my yard just says title. other yard says no title needed.

I know the yards I deal with in my state want a title, one state over no title is fine, the third state, title in your name or hit the road. Because we are a business we get away in that state selling them in tll the stats with title or without but it is our risk if something comes back stolen. That is why everything I buy comes wit some type of documentation.

Im from eastern pennsylvania, and I'm not sure what the law on it is. ill just call the yard.
