You cant change to 4 cl because of smog too they will not allow you to reg. first thing I was going to do because i had 05 dodge longbed hemi at the time and didnt need flatbed only for huge carpet jobs. I blew the hemi motor and fortunately I had the flatbed because i carpeted repo houses all over northern ca and it was good to me

ebay that sucker, someone from one of the states around you will come get it, sell sell sell , ive drove from arkansas to atlanta(and numerous other places) for a couple four wheelers, people will drive if they are getting a deal

wow really that would be awesome but i heard u need a whole new wiring harness
A SERIOUS MIND, FOR SERIOUS TIMES

most likely. maybe a donor car and a mega-squirt system probably too much to do to the old truck an would not be cost effective, unless you are looking at replacing it with a nice newer truck, but it would be cool

maybe something like this put a new oil pump waterpump timing set whatever makes you feel better for cheap insurance against breakdown or put your flat bed and rearend/springs in this
|
how do you improve gas mileage
Its a dually I dont think rear end would work
![]() |
it might be the same frame width spring length and all depending on what year your truck is it may bolt up or the engine should get better mileage and emissions than what came in it again depending on what year it is. the only 'yota duallys i have seen are the older ones that came under the dolphin motorhomes, may have been bought as a chassis cab is this what we are talking about?
|
its a 91 and that makes since but my old shop said they bought them brand new that way

I found one in a junkyard one time wanted the rearend and springs to put on another truck, but did not feel like toting them out. is the frame made the same as on the lighter trucks?
|
not sure
**** the smog thing sucks.Glad we dont have it here anymore.
you know what skippy, there was a guy in nashville told me he registered his 3/4 ton van with commercial tags, presto, no smog test
|
do you mean no smog in tenn or because he registered commercial
we had emmisions test, but commercial vehicles weren't required to take it
