I don't know anything about this company. They state on their website that they purchase platinum spark plugs.

I think that's the company that someone from here sent a big box of computer stuff to them and got a check back for $3.80 or something like that.

Those cash for gold stores are a rip-off. Hold on to them for a rainy day, or at least until you can find an outlet for them that will pay you a fair price.

I don't bother separating them. All plugs go into the shred bucket. Not worth it to me to waste space on something that maybe, someday it might be worth a few extra cents

I've heard of guys who sit around watching TV while they cut the tips off the plugs. I'm not sure exactly where they cut though.

Its not just the tips. The core has some aswell. I bust them open and that thin blackish looking stem inside the ceramic has platinum aswell. However I have not found a buyer for the whole plug and the return is minimal at best.

    Google is your friend. http://www.silversmetal.com/services.html

I've never used them - so this isn't an endorsement. They do say that they crush the plugs and extract the metals though. From what I can see, it's all spark plugs, not just the platinum ones they take.

If someone calls them up, let us know what they say, ok?
