Not sure what to do

I came across a bunch of boards with capacitors, resisters and etc. I am very new to this game so I'm not really sure if it's worth to break it down or sell as whole. I have a bunch of old security cameras , bulbs from tvs I think .. huge heavy old machine with just the boards and wires exposed. If someone can help me identify I will take pics of each individual thing. I have 3 pictographs. I think some old mri stuff .. the tubes say radiation. Please help!

First off, welcome to the forum. This is definitely a great place to learn about scrap circuit boards and their respective values. Please be extremely careful with those tubes that say radiation. I wouldn't even go near them until you've done some research on them and the risks associated with them. While most x-ray equipment only exposes a radiation source when powered up, extreme caution and safety measures need to be used to remove those. If one were to break it could expose you to some very harmful radiation. As far a pictures go the best method I've found is to click the "go advanced" button on a post and upload the pictures as an attachment. There is also a page on here that shows the steps to uploading pictures to the forum.

Welcome to the forum. I believe you have to have ten posts before you can post pictures. As far as the scrap, how much do you have? Are we talking pounds? Hundreds of pounds? I think knowing quantity is important to give meaningful advice.

Thank you!! Glad I found this forum! This is my first time with electronics. Usually we only do steel and copper. I do not want to even touch the box with that stuff. I picked up a load from someone who said the man who owned it call was trying to fix this stuff. It's all from the 70s from what it looks like. I'm gathering it all and laying it all out. It could be 100 lbs I don't have a scale yet but alot of it's older heavy stuff. Does the weight count on the entire item or is only for separated boards. Also I can't really find a place to take it all. There are some low grade boards, double sided boards, some motherboards with gold fingers, a box full of capacitors, 3 pictographs still in it's metal box. There's one huge item it may have been a super old camera or projector. I appreciate you !!! Oh yeah .. is it safe to remove stuff off of the boards?

Just an opinion:

Ewaste is it's own specialty and it takes awhile to learn. It sounds like your prime gig is steel and copper and that's it's own area of knowledge as well.

Point being: It sounds like this electronics stash is gonna be more of a "one and done" kind of thing for you ?

If that's the case ... you probably shouldn't put any more time & effort into it than you have to. Have you tried listing the whole lot on Craigslist yet ? It might be worth a shot.
